The components of the "phone numbers" page.

1-Phone number:

It represents the phone numbers connected to your WhatsApp Business Account.

2-Status:

It is a reflection of the number's quality rating and current messaging limit usage (when a business phone number reaches its messaging limit, its status changes).

These are the available statuses for the phone number:

  • Pending: The phone number is awaiting verification or confirmation.
  • Deleted: The phone number has been removed and is no longer available.
  • Migrated: The phone number has been transferred to another account.
  • Banned: The phone number has been permanently blocked due to violations of Meta's policies.
  • Restricted: The phone number has limited access or capabilities, possibly due to policy issues or account restrictions.
  • Rate-Limited: The phone number's messaging capabilities have been temporarily reduced due to exceeding allowed limits or thresholds.
  • Flagged: The phone number has been marked for potential violations or suspicious activity, pending further investigation.
  • Connected: The phone number is active and functioning properly.
  • Disconnected: The phone number is no longer linked to the platform, either due to user action or other factors.
  • Unknown: The status of the phone number is unclear or hasn't been determined by the system.
  • Unverified: The phone number hasn't been confirmed or authenticated for use.

3-Quality Rating:

Your quality rating is a rating based on the recent messages that your customers have received over the past 7 days. This rating is determined by the feedback from your customers.
The Quality rating column displays the quality states, including:

  • Green: High quality
  • Yellow: Medium quality
  • Red: Low quality
🚧

Maintaining a high-quality rating can make your business eligible for additional features.

4-Messaging limits:

It means the maximum number of business-initiated conversations that your phone number can start within 24 hours. When a message is sent to a customer, a conversation begins and continues for the next 24 hours. Once this time frame elapses, the conversation ends.
Business phone numbers are initially limited to 250 business-initiated conversations in a 24-hour moving period, but this limit can be increased.

5-Name:

It is also known as business phone number display names, which are the names that appear in WhatsApp Manager and may also be visible in WhatsApp chat thread headers, chat lists, and profiles.
For a display name to be visible, certain conditions must be met:

  • The business portfolio associated with the WhatsApp Business Account must have completed business verification.
  • The display name's status must be APPROVED.
📘

Once these conditions are satisfied, the verified name (display name in WhatsApp Manager) will be displayed. However, if a WhatsApp user has edited the business's profile name within the app, the edited name will take precedence.
